Psychological interventions.
Digital mental health.
Research in the real world.

Hey! I’m Max. I study how psychological interventions are designed, experienced, and put into practice, particularly in complex environments.

Research

How interventions work.
And how they fit.

My work connects intervention development, behavioural science, and implementation research. I’m interested in both the mechanisms that make an intervention helpful and the conditions that make it usable.

I use mixed methods, co-design, evidence synthesis, and experimental evaluation to examine those questions with researchers, practitioners, and policymakers.
